  Powerhouse East Lansing is a decent gym that could be a great gym. As a beginner trying to build muscle and lose a bit of weight, I'm more than satisfied with the equipment selection and nonstop hours of operation.
  
  As other reviewers have pointed out, hygiene and care-taking at Powerhouse are next to nonexistent. While I haven't been much bothered about the upkeep or lack thereof, I can easily understand others' complaints. The locker rooms are not maintained, with days passing between soap and paper towel refills. On the gym floor, I've only spotted wipe-down supplies once or twice.
  
  Staff and management need to adjust their routines and actually start maintaining their property.
